I love this. What’s the story of the markers?

I’m not sure, looks like “stations of the cross,” or whatever that is called… If I recall, that one was outside Mission Espada, centuries old Spanish Mission, down in San Antonio.

Nr 13 – what does it mean?

Is that a lucky XIII or an unlucky 13? Cool shot.

No idea exactly what it means, I wasn’t raised Catholic. Just a cool, old Spanish mission, something in the courtyard. No rain and record heat, record drought, made it a perfect ‘sepia’ shot with little or no effort on my part, other than having a camera and curiosity.

The number 13 seems to be a superstitious number to many. However, the cross should allow us to feel more confident and not worried about this ‘unlucky’ number. The sepia allows this photo to feel more organic and alive! Lovely!

I like the way the numerals show up
I tried looking up this type of marker but couldn’t find anything

I have no idea what the numerals are for, but there’s usually stations along the wall in the cathedrals, 1-14. Been so dry down in San Antonio, didn’t have to do much to make it “sepia.”

Cool shot and creates a mystery.
