    The small red buds seem so much bigger, the dramatic ruby hue nearly overpowering the sea of green that sits underneath. A fine capture, smaller more potent that the surrounding leaves…

    That red just pops right out at you!

    RED OR YELLOW?

    If you have a penchant for red,
    Then scarlet will go to your head;
    But if it is gold
    You’d rather behold,
    Then plant yellow roses instead.

    I have no idea what the real name of that stuff is, but I’ve always — mistakenly — called it Mustang Ivy.

    Main Plaza, the heart of Downtown San Antonio.
